Sunlight thru the shrouded veil

Winter_1

It’s 9am.

Sunlight thru a shrouded veil,

beams of light peaking thru the clouds.

rays streamin thru my curtains,

Sunlight thru the shrouded veil.

The last vestige of summer rays

carressing my langurously poised crystal ornament.

diffracting its brilliant rays,

a hundred million ways,

over my room onto my awaking face.

As if to safe guard

behind my burgundy curtains

its warm lucent beams,

its coldest hardest secrets.

‘fore winter comes and steal it.

Comes Winter come, an unrelenting gale.

The ornament doesnt tell.

The curtains never rail.

Sunlight shadowed by the broken veil.

Me? I’d rather run away n set sail~

The sun dips behind some clouds.

Sunlight thru a shrouded veil,

there is always hidden, a tale.

to conceal and never to tell.

Sunlight thru the shrouded veil.

"I appreciate people who are civil, whether they mean it or not. I think: Be civil. Do not cherish your opinion over my feelings. There’s a vanity to candor that isn’t really worth it. Be kind."
Richard Greenberg, NY Times Magazine, 03-26-2006

yea… sometimes i do wish people were more kind with words too..

positive vibes breeds positive vibes… so proves true for the converse…

Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind.

To the fearful,
it is threatening because it means that things may get worse.

To the hopeful,
it is encouraging because things may get better.

To the confident,
it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.

Twixxy and me

This is the story about me,
me and Twixxy,
who travelled with me
all over australia past few days.

a great many ways.

Twixxy was with me where ever i went,
from the drive to sydney,
navigating in the car,
round and round sydney we circumvent,
wandering the rock,
along darling harbour,
posing at the opera house,
and hunting for the ever elusive
krispy kreme donuts
(even though twixxy was abit jealous
about all the attention given to
Krispy Kreme!)

All the way to freezing canberra,
up the snowy mountains,

whose cold we couldnt bear,

where me and Twixxy were frozen stiffed.
and the gruelling 8 hr drive to melbourne
where it rained unrelenting
on the night we reached.
Making us
wet and cold
and
cold and wet…

To the great ocean drive,
where the twelve apostles stood.
Twixxy was there
taking in the majestic sight.

When i was at Max Brenner having
a cup of hot chocolate,
venezuela dark chocolate
Twixxy was there

it wasn’t Twixxy whom i wanted here.
But you.
I wished it was you.

The Twelve apostles

nine they were,

strong and mighty;

sentinels of the vast unbounded sea

Nothing lasts forever.

Time and tide.

the unrelenting waves, they cant abide.

eight now endeavour

in this losing fight,

eroded devotion, devoted erotion?

No one knows their plight.
