Sunlight thru the shrouded veil

Winter_1

It’s 9am.

Sunlight thru a shrouded veil,

beams of light peaking thru the clouds.

rays streamin thru my curtains,

Sunlight thru the shrouded veil.

The last vestige of summer rays

carressing my langurously poised crystal ornament.

diffracting its brilliant rays,

a hundred million ways,

over my room onto my awaking face.

As if to safe guard

behind my burgundy curtains

its warm lucent beams,

its coldest hardest secrets.

‘fore winter comes and steal it.

Comes Winter come, an unrelenting gale.

The ornament doesnt tell.

The curtains never rail.

Sunlight shadowed by the broken veil.

Me? I’d rather run away n set sail~

The sun dips behind some clouds.

Sunlight thru a shrouded veil,

there is always hidden, a tale.

to conceal and never to tell.

Sunlight thru the shrouded veil.
